What is Neighbor to Neighbor?

At the Bryant Neighborhood Center, we believe in the power of neighbors helping neighbors. Neighbor to Neighbor program brings together volunteers to update and renovate local homes, making them safer, more comfortable, and more welcoming. From small repairs to larger projects, this hands-on effort strengthens our community by building connections, sharing skills, and showing care in tangible ways.

Whether you’d like to lend a hand, nominate a household in need, or support the program through donations, Neighbor to Neighbor is a chance to make a lasting difference—one project at a time.

Could YOU or Someone You Know Benefit from a Free Exterior Paint Job?

This fall, the Bryant Neighborhood Center and Associated Ministries are teaming up to bless a local family with a FREE exterior house painting project. Our goal is to make a home shine again while showing care and support for those who give so much to our community.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Lives in the 98405 zip code

  • Is a homeowner and falls within qualifying income categories

  • We are especially seeking single-parent families, veterans, seniors, and others in need of a helping hand

If this sounds like you—or if you know someone who would be a great fit—we’d love to hear from you! Projects are planned for September or October, and selected homeowners will receive volunteer support at no cost.

Neighbor to Neighbor is powered by people like you! Whether you can swing a paintbrush, share your handy skills, provide encouragement, or help supply materials, there’s a place for you on the team. Volunteers of all experience levels are welcome—we’ll provide the tools, training, and community spirit.

Not able to join in person? You can still make a difference by supporting the project through a donation. Every dollar helps us purchase paint, supplies, and materials to ensure our neighbors’ homes get the care they deserve.
