We Need Your Support!

Thank you so much for your interest in partnering with the Bryant Neighborhood Center to link local residents with high quality resources, where young minds learn and grow, relationships are formed, and basic needs are met. TAP Tutoring

Trinity Afterschool Program (TAP), a literacy tutoring program that has been supporting Bryant Montessori and neighborhood children for 25+ years. The Bryant Neighborhood Center serves as a community hub to link local residents with high quality resources where young minds learn and grow, relationships are formed, and basic needs are met – all while amplifying residents’ vision for the community. TAP is one of the BNC’s core programs and relies heavily on the efforts of our extended BNC community – volunteers like you!

Tutors are invaluable at TAP, and make this program a beacon of hope for TAP kids and their parents. Come be a part of this core program of the Bryant Neighborhood Center! Tutors generally volunteer one hour a week when TAP is in session during the school year. Sign up here!

Community Meal Sponsor

Sponsor a Monday Night Meal

Make a difference in your community — one meal at a time.
Each Monday, our team at the BNC provides an extra community meal for neighbors in need. You, your family, group, or organization can help make it happen by sponsoring a Monday Night Meal!

How It Works:
Work together to plan, shop, and prepare a meal for about 50 people. You’ll assemble the meals at the BNC, and our meal delivery team will handle the deliveries to the local families in need.

It’s a great way to give back, connect, and make a tangible impact right here in our neighborhood. Interested? Please contact Tauti at operations@bnctacoma.org

  • We look to serve a delicious and hearty meal for our unhoused neighbors. A full meal consists of an entree, a starch, veggies or salad, a fruit and water bottle.

  • You can volunteer to be in charge for as much or as little as you want! That can look like planning and cooking a full meal for 50 - or simply bringing in a single item for 50 (like cookies or rice). Tauti can coordinate with you to make it all come together!

  • No, we are only asking for help with the food and water bottles. We have a dedicated team that will package the meal and deliver it out to our housed neighbors.

  • That’s up to you! The idea is that you plan, prep, and cook the food. If you’d like to recruit a team, then they’re welcomed. If you’d like help and don’t have a team to bring, we are happy to coordinate helping.
