We are building the Bryant Neighborhood Center in the heart of Tacoma, Washington. It will foster a diverse, connected, and empowered neighborhood, with residents actively participating in the development of a healthy, just, and sustainable community.

The Campaign

Trinity Presbyterian Church is fundraising toward a $2.5 Million goal to complete the Bryant Neighborhood Center. Called “Here for Good,” this campaign is supported by the Trinity congregation, foundation giving, and contributions from community members invested in the history and future of the Bryant Neighborhood and the city of Tacoma.

Program Partners

Existing Program Partners

Trinity partners with Bryant Montessori School and Jason Lee Middle School (each just two blocks away from our location) to offer students a safe place to continue their learning and build community. Our facilities are also used for the Trinity Neighborhood Clinic, which offers free health care services every Tuesday evening, ranging from sports physicals to diabetes assistance.

Potential partners

We envision the Bryant Neighborhood Center being a place where people can go to be connected to the resources they need. If you are an organization serving our community who would like to partner with us in our mission to serve our neighbors, please contact us to discuss how we can work together.

As we continue to actively look for partnerships to bring new and needed programming into the neighborhood, we have tentative plans to offer opportunities from organizations such as The Children’s Museum of Tacoma and The Tacoma Rescue Mission.

Current Programs

Trinity Presbyterian Church has been serving the Bryant neighborhood in Tacoma for over thirty years. Throughout the week, Trinity’s doors are open to our neighbors, offering free services like the Trinity Afterschool Program for reading tutoring, Tony’s Kitchen for community meals, Pat’s Closet for clothing and household items, and the Trinity Neighborhood Clinic for free health care services. The Bryant Neighborhood Center will ensure that these programs continue, and more community resources can be offered here.
